The response times to community issues and server bugs with this game is uncanny. Most games would have let this go on for days before releasing a fix. 10/10 game for sure.

Most games would have let this go on for days ? Are you serious ? With everyone keep loosing their loots because of almond bug you really think they had any other choices ? Community would have flame them instantly. And after 1 or 2 days... can't even imagine.

Why do not you create a PTS (Private Test Server) for this ?? And give the Pioneers access to test before the final version goes to the rest of the players? So avoiding these problems ??
