In cool news, Clark Hunt and the KC Chiefs organization brought every single employee (plus a guest) to the Super Bowl. More than 2,000 people. Every executive, every receptionist, every janitor and security officer. I love that. They all deserve it.
Since y'all are RT-ing this, let me tell you a story about Lamar Hunt. I spent a few years working for the KC Wizards and the Chiefs. I was at MLS Cup in DC when the Wizards won and Lamar joined us for a post-game celebration. We took some photos that day and a few weeks later...
On one of the Chiefs game days, I went to the Hunt suite at Arrowhead (which is an actual apartment) and Lamar was not there, but Norma Hunt was. I gave her copies of the photos and told her I thought Lamar might like them because he (and all of us) were so happy. (cont)
Norma was extremely gracious and genuinely excited look at the photos, she promised to give them to Lamar. Fast forward to at least a year later when I got a call out of the blue. I'd moved onto ESPN and no longer worked for the Hunts, but here was a secretary asking. (cont)
...asking for my contact information. Lamar Hunt was trying to find me. I gave her my address and that was that. A few days later, I got a Fed Ex letter to my attention at ESPN. It was a letter from Lamar. He said that he'd been straightening up his desk (cont)
...and when he moved his desk calendar, he found the envelope with the photos I'd given to Norma. He was thrilled to see them and wanted to thank me. He apologized for the delay in sending the thank you note. That was Lamar Hunt.
He didn't need to track me down, but he did. He was a genuinely humble person. When we traveled to MLS meetings, Lamar Hunt would show up carrying his own bags. When he visited Arrowhead, he would pull up in an unassuming Buick. He never flaunted his wealth.

Have they included the employees of in stadium contractors. I certainly applaud them for what theyve already done, just wondering if they’ve included food vendors.
Doubtful, as they arent actually employees of the Chiefs org, but employees of whatever vendor they use (like Aramark or whoever)
Important to remember this was likely done at the expense of STH having an opportunity to purchase tickets. While rewarding for those employees, it's an act without much care for loyal customers.
In most cases, those employees are the most loyal of customers.
