    “…The bird has a blue darvic ring with yellow letters above the left knee reading H7. North Notts Ringing Group have been colour ringing Little Egret chicks at Besthorpe Gravel Pits, Nottinghamshire since 2013. More info to come!

    We're awaiting details to know the history and movements of a ringed Little Egret that was spotted last Saturday near the footbridge at Aberlady Bay. Seen by our Treasurer, Andy Thorpe, the LE comes from the North Notts ringing group project....
