    Interesting this is essentially the inverse of the likelihood function - the point estimate is the most likely true effect size. A related question is how many people think each value in a confidence interval is equally likely to reflect the true effect size?

    This is of course good. However, the language of this tweet (‘allow’) misses the point that the UK is bloody lucky that so many brilliant overseas researchers want to do science here. If they have a fellowship they are the brightest and the best - it’s an honour to host them
