still not possible to buy a gtx 1660 for a reasonable price, I see
OK, maybe I can move my platter HDD into a 5.25" bay with an adapter, remove the 3.5" drive cage entirely, and then my too-long GPU will be able to go in the high-speed PCIe slot instead of the one that's running at x1 because there's a wifi card in another slot (??!?)

but I'd really like to get a 1660S, which performs better AND draws half as much power AND is a much physically smaller card, but that's a GPU that _should_ cost $250 at retail, so no way in hell am I paying the current going $600+
