Ireland and Norway banned it. And because of protests in the US, instead of 200 screens they went up to 600 across the states. Divorce has cost Cleese a lot more than "cancel culture".

Also worth noting that the Irish ban was probably largely because Ireland was fighting British occupation. There were Christian protests at basically every theatre worldwide, ireland just had further reason to ban it.
