      Most games that size would do its utmost to be simple or easy but Destiny out there using words like 'antumbra' and 'paracausal' and 'exegesis'.

      shows confidence that the vast majority of players who are just here for the shooty-bang might shrug and hit "skip cutscene" but won't be put off, while 100% of players who are here for the Lore will be all "proper nouns!!! fuck yeah!!1!1"

      yeah that's one of the reasons why i love destiny, it strikes that balance super well. lore is there if you look for it, but story and gameplay are integrated so well.
