I think we both played that version (Brett here and I know I did), and it was... okay. The sticks do not work super well, meaning directional movement control is only okay (you can sort of only run if you are holding a stick exactly in a canonical direction, it felt like to me).
the @devgameclub eps on Prince of Persia Sands of Time are making me really want to replay that game, which I had on the gamecube way back when and haven't touched since. is the windows port that's on steam any good?
