this is what I'm saying! Musk does lots of terrible shit, some of it (like teslas catching fire, "autodrive" killing people, promoting bitcoins) actively harmful, but "successfully build a scifi humanoid robot servant" is just not going to be one of them
Musk IS a Terminally Online dipshit, so I do think a lot of his ridiculous crap is just him spouting off because everyone around him is paid not to tell him "no", but to the extent he plans these things, it's all just for short-term make numbers go up
