      this is why I've always been annoyed that so many people kept insisting on treating his blog like a Serious Publication just because he named it ~Current Affairs~ and aped the web design style of the Atlantic and the New Yorker. it was always, very obviously, just his blog.

      anyway I know the "and you're ~surprised~?" guy is the worst guy to be, I'm not about to start @-ing people with that shit, but I really do think no one _should_ be surprised by this. it was always obvious CA was a vanity project Nate Bowtie ran to prove he was The Smartest Boy.
