I know that being able to read a long thread as a regular web page instead of in the twitter interface is an accessibility issue for some folks, and so the thread reader apps are filling a perceived need, but they're also profiting off of others' work and ignoring consent.
It doesn't work. I did the "BLOCK ME" thing when I first blocked them. They run multiple accounts to help them get around this.
