Hmm yes, 2021, the year when you have to think “is that little tickle in my throat the first sign I’m developing the uncontrolled plague ravaging the nation, or merely an allergic reaction to the poor air quality caused by large amounts of the continent being on fire?”

I have also been asking myself that question, and so I checked on the cvs app for which nearby stores have the cheap (well, "cheap") home 15-minute test in stock, and when I got there and asked they were like, "no, we don't have any of those".

Love how modern technology enables retailers to track inventory in real time and then provide information to customers via apps and websites that is completely inaccurate.

CVS is the worst at this, hands down. Walgreens and Target are better, IME.

I'll check them tomorrow. Thanks!

Sure enough, Walgreens had tons of them right on the shelf.

they're the cheaper one with a slightly higher false negative rate, that come with two tests in the box so you can reduce risk of false negative, but that's fine. (plus this one doesn't require bluetooth and an app!) test 1 says probably just allergies!

my son cleaned out the ADHD vegetable bin so the least I could do was carry it down but he overestimated the tensile strength of the bag
