I have also been asking myself that question, and so I checked on the cvs app for which nearby stores have the cheap (well, "cheap") home 15-minute test in stock, and when I got there and asked they were like, "no, we don't have any of those".

Love how modern technology enables retailers to track inventory in real time and then provide information to customers via apps and websites that is completely inaccurate.

Yeah, the cashier pointed at an empty spot on the shelf behind the registers, but the app/website don't know how much of the store's inventory is actually on shelves. So maybe!
