cool how today's nyt daily podcast just opens with a whole bunch of restaurant bosses repeating the "oh we can't find workers because they're all lazy and getting free money" line before finally the like sixth chef-owner they talk to says "yeah we just have to pay more"

OK, I have to qualify these criticisms, they did then devote the bulk of the podcast to talking to restaurant workers about what their unemployment experience has been like and whether they're going back to restaurants (most said no).
