if you're vaxed, and don't have any complicating factors that might make the vax less effective, it's still, until a worse variant mutates, pretty much true that you aren't at much risk to yourself—but more than with other strains!—even if you get exposed and infected by Delta

there is a FUNDAMENTAL moral obligation for ALL people, INCLUDING fully vaxed otherwise non-elderly adults, to take all feasible protective measures, including avoiding crowds, staying home as much as possible, and when not at home, wearing masks indoors.

everyone in power knew how bad this could be and what we needed to do to prevent it, and instead just fucking let it happen, because letting stocks go down and making rich people pay taxes wasn't acceptable.

the official current worldwide covid death toll is around 4 million, but if the US undercount is 50% we have to assume it's at least that bad everywhere else, which means probably at least 6 million people worldwide have died due to the covid pandemic.
