Maybe it's just how my brain works, but I always find it kind of weird and confusing when guitar people talk about "overdrive" and "distortion" and "fuzz" like they're three different kinds of thing
It's all just clipping. Where exactly are the cutoff points? Where's the line where if it's clipping less than THIS it's overdrive, but if it's clipping more it's distortion, but then if it's even more than this OTHER amount, that's fuzz
I should also read up on how to optimize a signal path. Does chorus go before or after distortion?
My tiny amp has a setting that goes from British to American. I kinda know what it means, but what?
I would guess "British" probably means overdriving easier at lower volume, and maybe more midrange and treble in the tone, while "American" is bassier and cleaner? But that's just a guess!
