Those “we have to get over wearing masks and anyone who still does is neurotic” columns are aging like cheese in the sun, huh

Tbf, I did stop wearing a mask for the most part, just keeping it with me and putting it on where it was required or where I saw employees were still masking (because my main concern, being fully vaccinated, was the comfort of others)

But vaccinated people not masking aren’t the problem, here—the problem is we said “if you’re vaccinated you don’t have to wear one” and then didn’t require any goddamn proof of vaccination anywhere

That said, I was mostly comfortable doing that specifically because I live in a place with high vaccination rates and where people have been dutifully masking up. If I lived where most people were still unvaccinated…probably never would have stopped masking
