everything but the old fashioned is too sweet, but the old fashioned is always stale, which is why you also get a coffee, and dunk the donut in the coffee, and curse dunkin' donuts for discontinuing their namesake donut, which was a smaller diameter and had a handle, for dunking

Sometimes when I was a kid my grandmother would make homemade old fashioned donuts and we would dip them in her coffee. It was the best.
