So…the Israeli ambassador to the US wrote to governors of US states (who, I thought, were not authorized to engage in diplomacy on behalf of the US?) asking them to punish Ben & Jerry's for making a business decision about where to sell their products. Interesting.
Said ambassador darkly declared that the avuncular Vermont ice cream hippies must be shown that "their antisemitic [sic] decision will have consequences". I thought the consequences of deciding not to sell in certain regions were already that they get less money?
I'm pretty sure they knew about those consequences when they made the decision, in fact! They've been in business for decades, they understand the basics of exchanging funds for goods and services.
