we have <SECTION> and <FIGURE> and even <ASIDE> now, especially if you're mostly just formatting text, you should never need <DIV>.

As recently as March I was still doing all my work in Notepad with my own markup lol (I still would be, except the CMS I currently use doesn't really support pasting that in well)
