Right that's my thing like...if someone said "I'm going to keep masking and distancing and being super careful but I want to wait a bit for the vaccine," I would disagree but I wouldn't say "don't waste lungs on them." This isn't that.
medical ethics is, thank heavens, not my field, so I will simply decline to have an opinion on whether or with what priority he should get a transplant, but I do find it difficult to feel much sympathy for his predicament.
