oh, the series gets to that level pretty quickly. but 1 and 2 are pretty close adaptations of Barker's story (and he directed the first one himself).
the subsequent entries are often fun (3 has Dax, from DS9; 4 is In Space) but then again, often not very good—some of them weren't originally written as Hellraiser stories, so they're just an unrelated horror movie but then Pinhead shows up at the end to give a lecture.
