Crime is up. We’ve all been locked in the house for a year but it’s definitely because of George Floyd. Even though pre-2021, the crime rate had been steadily decreasing as cops were killing us. What’s the unique variable in 2021? It isn’t “cops killed a Black person in 2020.”

and even with some increase year-over-year, crime rates are a fraction of what they were in the '80s and '90s. the reporting always omits that in order to sensationalize relatively small changes.
