The fact that Schumer can’t even be arsed to see if “okay, if you’re not prepared to help us reach our agenda items I see no reason for you to keep committee memberships etc” has an effect on either of his crypto-q members is so fucking aggravating
I was asking months ago (or at least, like, _a_ month ago, I don't know what time is anymore) what left-leaning groups were working on messaging and spending to persuade _WV voters_ that pressuring Manchin on the filibuster and voting rights is in _their_ interest.

Still don't know of any! But I don't see any other way he'd change his mind. I love the idea that the prospect of massive federal pork to turn his state into a post-scarcity utopia would do it, but I don't actually think it would.
