…folks just can't help collapsing everything they don't like into all being the same thing, can they? but I don't think a UK terf account whitewashing a nazi collaborator does, actually, have anything to do with US corporate "girl-boss" "feminism"? I think they're unrelated!

by the way, Violette Morris's wikipedia page says she not only got an elective double mastectomy, but habitually wore men's clothing, smoked, and other "male" habits.

a particularly cynical (or paranoid, depending how you see it) person might wonder if a terf "women's history" account might have promoted Morris _expecting_ that people would note those facts, conclude Morris was trans, and thus build a subtle negative association.
