honestly, I think some people could use a refresher on how the US govt works.
I admire and respect the Sunrise Movement and I get that high-profile targets are important for visibility and awareness, but they know that enacting legislation with funding to create federal programs—like a civilian climate corps, for example—isn't up to the president, right?

No one is wearing masks in any of the photos I've seen and it's freaking me out! That's too many people to be a reasonably safe pod. Even if they're all fully vaccinated, the COVID-19 coronavirus is a huge risk! The Delta Variant has been taking down so many fully vaxxed people.

You can't fight for climate change protections if you're incapacitated or dead!!! But I guess in a morbid way if you're dead, you no longer have to care about our planet dying. So maybe it's fatalism combined with folly?! Either way, concerning!!
