There's a new podcast I'd like to listen to, but I can't find an RSS URL for it, and it doesn't show up in my podcast app (Pocket Casts)'s directory, which I thought was pulled from other podcast directories' (Apple's?) APIs

I'm so old I remember when podcasts just had RSS feeds, and if you wanted to subscribe to one, you copied and pasted the url into your podcast app of choice. apparently that's not how it works anymore, and I think that's bad.

RSS feels like one of the good things about the internet that a lot of people seem to want to kill or mess up or not comply with (as an example substack made an rss reader but doesn't publish rss for their newsletters... ? Gotta lock ppl in, y'know)
