I read the highlight before the rest, so at first I thought this person was talking about "bringing food" like…a dessert and a bottle of wine. Not a week's worth of groceries! That's weird as hell!

It’s odd af. And it would be wild inconvenient. Like, why would i have space in my fridge pantry for all this shit you bought AND my own stuff?

also if you were hosting, you would have stocked up! If you’re the visiting ones and you have small kids you would probably bring whatever kid-specific things they want, but bringing tons of groceries is odd and truly WHERE WOULD YOU PUT IT?
