last RTs: it's not just white men who are acting like if you say misogynist things, but say "white women" instead of just "women", it's not actually misogynist; but insofar as I myself am a white man, I have to tread carefully talking about anyone but white men doing that.
the thing is that in theory "Becky"/"Karen"/"white women" discourse is about how, due to white patriarchy, the "acceptable" range of behavior—and expression of privilege—is different for white women than white men, but in practice that "due to patriarchy" part often gets left out
