I was going to finally play the Outriders demo, but first the intro cinematic was incredibly unoriginal, paint-by-numbers stuff and then it required linking a square account just to play the demo, so I uninstalled that.

so then I was finally going to play the Fermi Paradox demo, but apparently that stopped working because the demo fest is over, which is a bit like amazon remotely deleting 1984 from people's kindles

I'm so old I remember when if you bought a thing or installed a program you just had it and could use it, unless you got rid of it/uninstalled it.

I've never before seen it stop offering the option to even try to launch a game that I had legitimately added to my library and installed. even games they've delisted, that don't have store pages anymore, I can still reinstall and play.
