I finished re-reading _Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell_ again (for the…mumble…th time) last night and I thought, "I want a sequel that follows Arabella Strange and Emma Pole's political careers"
I haven't read _Piranesi_ yet, I do need to get a copy of that. I suppose I shouldn't say I wish there was a Strange & Norrell sequel, since I know Clarke had a very difficult time after that was published.

Piranesi is: What if Umberto Eco, but written by someone who actually cared about characters and people *as people* rather than as ciphers for concepts. (This is praise, to clarify.)
