even though I'm objectively not very good, I can move a couple of basic chord forms up and down the neck and strum them with the guitar volume and amp gain cranked up and the amp master volume pretty low, and it rules

every time I've tried to get back into playing guitar I've stuck with it for a little while and then fallen off again, and this time might be no different, but while I'm in the honeymoon period, I have to say, power chords through an overdriven amp sound fuckin sick

I'll never be a _great_ guitarist, or, probably, even a very good one, but I'd really like to be a basically competent one, the guy who can do a fine job of playing along on a moment's notice but isn't always making people listen to his bad rendition of "Wonderwall".
