God, yes!! But my team provides 24 hr support coverage, so until the rest of the world switches we’re stuck. At least my manager has made clear that as long as we maintain quality and responsiveness, he’s not all that fussed with what else we do.
well, there are always going to be some things that need there to be active, available staff 24/7, but the solution is employing more workers, to cover the need without making anyone work too many hours.
We’re at least moving to REAL 8-hour shifts instead of “nine with a lunch that we know you’ll end up working through.” And they’re letting us stay wfh. For an American worker, I’m really lucky.
