I'm now being told that this song is, in the context of the whole special, ~ironic~. well, that's fine then, since netflix promoting the special with just this clip doesn't erase that context, and doing a thing ironically isn't still doing the thing!

I felt that way in the beginning of the song, but when it veered into musing on the impossibility of expressing true grief in a curated and branded space, I felt that it ended up making more fun of people who make this joke without reflecting on their own branded online personas.
