I don’t mind a hint of it in dishes, but accidentally biting into one is the worst, so I end up spending a lot of time just picking them out of dishes that use them.
Oh, yeah, biting into one whole would be…a lot. I always grind them up as fine as I can when I'm cooking with them.

Yeah, my father in law tends to throw a full handful of while peppercorns in almost anything he makes. If you’re not careful you will have numb teeth for an entire meal.
