People who pronounce “antifa” like “an-TEE-fa” instead of “antee-FA” befuddle me.

I actually put the heaviest emphasis on the first syllable ("AN tee fah") but I always suspect people who emphasize the "tee" are doing so to make it sound like a scary, foreign, maybe-Arabic word

I pronounce it the same. Comes out "Auntie Fah," though.
