they can’t possibly imagine binding as anything but self-harm, even though it’s basically the same as a femme wearing high heels.
And even if we accept her very dubious implication that one "trend" is a direct substitute for the other, wouldn't it be…good? that teens feel they can express their gender presentation openly instead of self-harming because they're depressed from being closeted??
