in that context it seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do, and if most of her usual followers who aren't just here for the dunks assume that context, and she didn't expect to be made a main character, there's no reason she'd have specified it more explicitly.

I know here on twitter dot com we all live by the dunk and die by the dunk, and there's nothing anyone on this website loves more than going viral with an especially sick dunk on a Karen, but, like, maybe that's…not good?

how did that guy even see that tweet? I think it's fair to guess the type of guy to mock "meaningless liberal gestures" isn't likely to follow Business Practices Influencers. was he doing a search for the word "inclusive" to find things to mock?

maybe not, maybe it just got a chain of RTs that stripped it of context until he saw it. who knows.

one thing I do know is that QT/screencap dunks on white women seem to get way more traction than any other kind—the more vicious the better—even though white men, as a demographic, are objectively much worse in every relevant way

and another thing I know, or at least infer, is that there's a significant (in terms of volume and reach, at least, if not sheer number) segment of leftist twitter who seem to believe dunking on liberals' goofy but basically anodyne tweets is meaningful praxis.

my position has been, and remains, that dunking is _anti_-praxis. it's actively corrosive and harmful _even when_ the tweet you're dunking on is genuinely awful.

(have I sometimes done this thing I denounce? sure, I'm not perfect. I try not to. is it splitting hairs to distinguish between a QT that just dunks, and a QT that actually debunks or argues? maybe.)
