I'd feel a lot better if the messaging re: ending restrictions were more "here's the science that makes us think this is safe, here are the risks, here's how to mitigate them" and less "hey it's all over now everything's fine go back to normal spend spend spend!"
Remember how after 9/11 George W Bush (*turns head, spits*) was like "it's your patriotic duty as Americans to go shopping!"
