I don't know, I rewatch the original series on a somewhat consistent basis and a lot of it holds up pretty well. of course there's some bits that are Not Good, but overall it's better than average.
I'd be happy to be pleasantly surprised! I just feel like "let's bring back [beloved thing from decades ago]!" doesn't have a great track record

generally no, but I suspect there's been some evolution with these guys. too often, it's just business as if 30 years of the world changing hasn't happened around the core thing. that said, we can only wait and see.
