So tonight I'm learning that the show everyone's currently talking about is NOT, as I had previously assumed, about a horse; and not only that, but there are actual neighboring towns in IRL Pennsylvania called "Easttown" and "Westtown". What the fuck

I grew up in PA in a village called “Upper Black Eddy”. There was a “Lower Black Eddy” at one point but it got the tourists and changed its name to New Hope and we got the weird name for keeps.
