also it is VERY WEIRD to me that she insists on calling him "my brother" throughout, even though he clearly never truly consented to that understanding of their relationship.
She doesn't even use quotation marks, it's *so uncomfortable*
you know what else is weird, I just realized that post is a year old. why is it getting attention now?
It's even weirder than that, my sense reading it was that she stopped in the middle and then resumed and it took me a little bit to realize that the "brother" was still the guy she had *seen* as her brother, or perhaps more accurately the imprisoned guy she'd seen as *hers*.
