the best outcome is if Brown is cast as some kind of elder mentor, maybe analogous to Ramirez in the original, and then a late twist reveals he IS the original Kurgan, he didn't really die (somehow) and has been manipulating events (somehow) and it's really a sequel, not a reboot
they have to let him keep his real-life long hair though. he has very pretty hair these days.
