A musical that everyone thought it was about a gay teen and it turns out it’s about a guy who fakes having a friendship with a guy who died - which he apparently uses to get close to the guy’s sister and becomes part of the family (as near as I can tell).

Me too! I admit that I also thought it was about a gay teenager but I couldn’t get into the soundtrack so never saw it when it came to Boston (I guess I didn’t miss much
