There was a little while there, when the internet—and to a slowly increasing extent the overall culture—was mostly governed by a moderately strong consensus that it was neither right, necessary, not indeed feasible to require that all art by and for adults be "safe" for children.

it's actually good for adults to be allowed to have discourse and make and view art (including erotic art and porn) and participate in activities (including sex work) that are not suitable for children, so long as they aren't harming people in so doing.

and while it's reasonable for platform owners to take some steps to reduce the likelihood that children will accidentally be exposed to such discourse, art, or activities on their platforms, it's very bad for them to prohibit such things entirely.
