I don't like that "if you see someone still wearing a mask, remember: [list of possible 'legitimate' medical reasons]" tweet.

instead, consider: if you see someone still wearing a mask even though the politicized, trust-deficient CDC said fully vaccinated people don't need them, remember: their choice to wear a mask doesn't harm you or affect you in any way and is none of your fucking business.

I admit, I continue to feel cranky about the people who insist on wearing gloves: 1) it’s mostly not transmitted that way, 2) if it was you’d just be spreading it around unless you changed your gloves every time you touched something, but...I don’t hassle strangers about it.

Very early on I saw a dude driving around with his ciggie dangling casually from his GLOVED HAND Also I don’t think the fact that we get fresh rounds of hand hygiene training at work after literally every DPH survey is a coincidence so I don’t trust ANYONE to glove safely

I have a background in food service. I know how. I also know how easy AND TEMPTING it is to do it wrong. Someone gloved in public without a box tucked under their arm? Not helping themselves, might be spreading actual contact ick like noro around.

Yuuuuuuuuup I’m hopeful that this past 14+ months of no handshakes ever will at least get the RNs past the surveyors’ favorite trick of going up to the nurse currently passing meds and sticking out a hand to shake
