I feel like the question the CDC was _actually_ answering was "are fully vaccinated people at risk themselves, or a danger to others, if they are indoors unmasked near people who may not be vaccinated?", and the answer to medical question about specific scenarios, is no.

but the way they _framed_ their press release, and the way everyone has (predictably) _taken_ it, from the President to the media, is as if the "no" was in answer to "is it still good public health policy to require masks indoors?"

and that's completely wrong, it absolutely is still good policy to do that, because "wear a mask indoors" is a simple and enforceable rule and THE PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER
