we spent a couple nights down at my folks' place, since they're fully immunized, R is a week past her 2nd shot, and I'm a week away from my 2nd, and it was mothers' day. they insisted on buying us some fresh fish from the good fish market in their Cape Cod town to take home.
I cook a lot of seafood from frozen—shrimp, cod fillets, etc.—because it's more economical, but good christ almighty there's nothing like really high-quality fresh fish from the nearby ocean.
