the "nuclear family" as we currently understand it in the American context is a post-WWII invention. "Leave it to Beaver" was propaganda, not a documentary.

(also, "biology" [in this case probably being used to mean either "evolution" or "god but if I say god non-Christians will stop listening"] doesn't "design" anything.)
