I put the zest from the lemons in the hummus, too.
it turns out @noveldevice's hummus recipe makes a…pretty good…amount.
I guess I should have warned you...we really like hummus.
(it was ALMOST too much for this ancient blender, but that's on me for not thinking about the volumes a little more ahead of time)
I did warn you that the mini processor with your stick blender could only handle half a can of chick peas
you did! which is why I used the big blender instead :-)
"oh no, too much hummus" is frankly not a problem we ever have difficulty solving in this household
one time Daily Table had a 5 pound bucket of hummus cheap and it WAS a race at the end between “finish this” and “will go bad” but at the price we paid, if we lost half a pound we were still ahead
